Overview
CMSL turned blue to support a great cause and bring the team together around something meaningful. On the day, people had a simple way to get involved and show support. As a result, the campaign felt visible, positive, and easy to join.
The story
In the break room, the prostate cancer fundraiser came to life. It was filled with blue-themed bakes, mini games, sweepstakes, and friendly competition. Because of that, the day felt lively, welcoming, and easy for people to join.
The first ever Great CMSL Bake Off stole the show, with the SMT bravely judging an array of blue-tinted treats. At the same time, real-time updates kept the energy high and helped drive donations past the original £300 target. In the end, the total reached £500.
Around 50 people took part throughout the day, including office staff, visiting directors, and senior facilities managers. As a result, the event felt bigger than a simple fundraiser. Instead, it became a shared effort across the team.
For many colleagues, the day was about more than fundraising. Across the event, team members shared personal motivations, supported one another, and created a genuinely uplifting atmosphere. As one participant put it, “The unity of the whole team made the day inspiring.”
