Overview
A lot of blue. A lot of baking. A little healthy competition.
CMSL recently held a Wear It Blue Day in support of Alzheimer’s Society, our Charity of the Year.
Colleagues across the business got involved through games, sweepstakes, sweet treats, blue outfits and a blue themed baking competition. Together, the team raised over £360 for a cause that means a great deal to many people and families across the UK.
The story
The day was simple, but it worked.
People baked, donated, dressed in blue and joined in with the fundraising activities throughout the day. There were sweepstakes, games, a guess the sweets in the jar challenge and plenty of homemade treats.
The blue themed baking competition brought out some strong entries too. A bit of friendly competition always helps.
More importantly, the day brought people together.
It showed the kind of team culture we’re proud to be building at CMSL. People got behind the cause, gave their time, and helped raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.
The final total came to over £360.
For CMSL, days like this matter. They give people a chance to support something meaningful, while also bringing colleagues together outside the usual day to day work.
For our clients, it is a small glimpse of the people behind the service. The engineers, helpdesk teams, office staff and support teams who care about more than just the job in front of them.
For anyone thinking about a future with CMSL, it also shows the kind of workplace we want to keep building. Professional, supportive and willing to get involved when there is a good cause to support.
